Although the slow Winter season is upon us and
many bikes are warmly tucked away, the Tail of the Dragon is not
very crowded offering cars some clear sailing around Deal’s Gap and
it’s 318 curves. Due to
the low elevation, The Dragon’s Tail remains clear most of the
Winter though you’ll want to remain alert on your 4-wheels as the
sun and shadows during the shortened days can be a little tricky.
